Ive been with my bf in LDR for 4 yrs. We had bumpy road through all those years and even now.. In my experience.. the best way to keep a LDR strong is being open in everything.. since you are not actually together,. Building a strong trust to each other will help you both. I am talking about the personal accts u have in ur devices. and activity u both like to do.
1.email,fb, etc. Being able to access each other's social app can build a great trust with ur partner even ur not with them
2. Finding a hobby that both of you enjoy doing.My bf loves to sing, when we started dating.. he used to sing to me through skype by playing a music to his cd player or phone.. and then we found SMULE app.. which we loved so much and doing songs together, talking about singing and how to enhance our talent.. I know a daily routine of talking will make a feeling of dullness to the relationship.. so try to find what you both have the same like.. and look for a way to be part of your activities together.
3. Communication- At first we started talking for like hours of talk.. we enjoyed , even sometimes we talk the same thing everyday.. But as the years go by, it started to changed.. I dont mean it bad.What im saying is.. It doesnt matter how long uve able to talk to ur partner, what important is he/she tells you a little bit of what they did through the day.. Do not be selfish of your own feeling. If both of you is working , you have to consider that it doesnt matter that their not even able to message u when u usually does.. Give time for each other's progress in career.
4. Pictures- True that taking selfies and stuff of what u do in a day will make them more connected to you.
5. Introducing to family/ relatives/ friends – being open to everyone and letting them know that you are with him/ her will make them feel more valued, and it also a help to you whenever there is something weird happen and u cannot get a hold on them.. Family and Relatives will be 100% helpful.
6.Patience and understanding and maturity. remember that u probably have different time zone together.. As much as u are patient to other things.. u need to have 400% of being matured enough to understand all the differences between both of you..

you can have a long distance relationship ,,,but the numbers 1 question,,,if you have a money to afford it,,,you have to think the expenses for the flight ticket and hotel ,,plus food,and its depends,,if you want to visit her or him every 6 months or every year,and how long you want to stay on her or him country or state,,,2 weeks or 1 month,,,,its all about the money guys ,,,in our every move,,,money is always included,,,just ask your self if you can afford it

So heres what happened well I just started talking to this guy and we are about 4 hours away so I really don't know him character well. I had assumed that he was ignoring me to talk to other girls so I told him I wanted to drop him because I did nt trust him and I accused him. Stupid and immature I know. I found out that in reality he was working the whole time not ignoring me nor talking to another girl. OMG he was pissed and I am sure I seemed insecure. Im so depressed.. guys i need ur help.. i left my girlfriend back at the USA because my studies were done and my visa expired.. she knew this day would come, and she promised me many times that we will be together no matter what.. I am not stupid, I know she was saying the truth because i know her better than anyone else. Now when i left, specifically 2 days. she immediately started ignoring my texts and then said i think i want to break up.. she tore my heart out and I barely could breathe.. i know she said that because she was feeling lonely. Then she said i cant come to ur country because o dont agree with your culture.. then she said idk im just confused,, and now she os saying i will make it work and i love u so much.. So i really dont know what to do or feel?? We used to hangout 24/7 im basically her best and maybe only true friend..
